Terms and Conditions

Dolce Vita Makers offers bespoke event planning services, including marriage proposals, luxury picnics, bachelorette parties, weddings, and other celebrations.

1. General Terms (Applicable to All Services)

1.1 Booking Confirmation
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment must be completed prior to the event date.

1.2 Customizations
We offer pre-designed and custom service packages. For tailored services, additional fees may apply. Customizations must be requested and agreed upon in advance.

1.3 Permits
If permits are required for your event, Dolce Vita Makers can assist with obtaining them as part of our planning services. Additional charges apply.

1.4 Right to Refuse Service
Dolce Vita Makers reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including, but not limited to, safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, or violations of these terms.

1.5 Photography and Promotion
Dolce Vita Makers reserves the right to use event photos for promotional purposes. Clients may opt out by providing written notice before the event.

1.6 Liability Waiver
Dolce Vita Makers is not responsible for any injuries, loss, or damages during your event. Clients assume full responsibility for their guests and property.

1.7 Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or unforeseen emergencies. In such cases, we will work to reschedule the event.

2. Luxury Picnics

2.1 Services Provided
Our luxury picnic packages include a pre-designed setup featuring low picnic tables, umbrellas, premium flatware and tableware, pillows, rugs, blankets, and additional decor based on the package selected.

2.2 Timeliness
Picnics are time-sensitive. Clients are expected to arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period may be provided. If delays occur, the event duration may be shortened.

2.3 Supervision
Picnic setups must not be left unattended for extended periods. Dolce Vita Makers is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unattended setups.

2.4 Weather Policy
If inclement weather makes the picnic unsafe, we may recommend rescheduling or relocating the setup indoors. Light rain or cloudy weather does not qualify as grounds for rescheduling.

2.5 Equipment Care
Clients are responsible for all equipment during the event. Damage or loss of items (e.g., tables, decor, flatware) will result in additional charges. Decorative candles are for display only and must not be lit.

2.6 Alcohol Policy
Clients assume full responsibility for any alcohol brought to the picnic. Dolce Vita Makers is not liable for any consequences arising from alcohol consumption.

3. Proposals

3.1 Services Provided
We offer proposal planning and execution services, including curated setups, floral arrangements, and coordination of logistics. Specific inclusions depend on the package selected.

3.2 Consultation
Each proposal is customized through consultation with the client to ensure the setup matches their vision.

3.3 Timeliness
Proposals are time-sensitive events. Clients must adhere to the agreed schedule. Delays may affect the setup and overall experience.

3.4 Weather Policy
If unfavorable weather conditions arise, we will work to relocate or reschedule the event. Clients proceeding despite our recommendations accept all associated risks.

4. Weddings

4.1 Event Agreement
A separate agreement will be created for each wedding event to outline the specific services, inclusions, and timeline.

4.2 Consultation and Planning
Our wedding planning services include consultations, venue selection, vendor coordination, decor design, and event management. Specific details will be outlined in the event agreement.

4.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling
Weddings are significant events requiring extensive planning. Rescheduling or cancellations must be requested at least 30 days in advance. Deposits remain non-refundable.

4.4 Liability
Dolce Vita Makers is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by vendors, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Clients assume full responsibility for guests and personal belongings.

5. Bachelorette Planning

5.1 Services Provided
We provide bachelorette party planning services, including event coordination, venue selection, decor setup, and curated activities based on the client’s preferences.

5.2 Consultation
Clients will receive a detailed consultation to tailor the event to their needs. Specific inclusions depend on the package selected.

5.3 Payment and Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to the event date.

5.4 Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 14 days’ notice. Deposits remain non-refundable.

6. Rescheduling and Cancellations (All Services)

6.1 Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule once, free of charge, with proper notice. Additional rescheduling may incur a $150 fee.

6.2 Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable, including cancellations due to a change of mind or minor weather concerns.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Deposit and Final Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due prior to the event date.

7.2 Refund Policy
All payments, including deposits, are non-refundable. Exceptions apply only in cases of force majeure (see Section 1.7).

8. Equipment and Damages

8.1 Equipment Care
Clients are responsible for all rented items during the event. Damage or loss will result in additional charges.

8.2 Prohibited Uses
Decorative items, such as candles, must not be lit. Clients may not sit, stand, or modify any rented equipment without prior approval.

9. Alcohol and Liability

9.1 Alcohol Responsibility
Clients are solely responsible for any alcohol brought to their event and its consequences. Dolce Vita Makers is not liable for any incidents resulting from alcohol consumption.

9.2 Liability Waiver
Dolce Vita Makers is not liable for injuries, loss, or damages occurring during the event. Clients assume all responsibility for their guests and belongings.

10. Agreement and Updates

By booking with Dolce Vita Makers, you agree to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
